Monitor BenQ help

If I buy a monitor from the USA and use it in the UK will I have problem? I know that in the US the voltage is 110 and in the UK its 240. All I need is a voltage converter. But the problem is that if I connect the desktop with the monitor wouldn`t it damage anything cause of the voltage that passes through the desktop? So I don`t know how much volts the graphic card produce.

I would not recommend to do this. Get a monitor sold in the UK for your voltage.

This convertors were designs for small appliances, not for sensitive electronics.
