My brother's computer has always worked, but today when he came home, the screen was just blank. The computer sometimes boots up with display, and shows up to "verifying DMI Pool Data ... Update Success and it moves to the next screen which is just blank, then the monitor goes dim. That screen only appears after resetting CMOS, if I don't reset it, the computer just boots up to a blank screen with the monitor not even recognized.

I7 920 // 8GB G.Skills Ram // Gigabyte X58A-UD3R MB // Gigabyte Windforce r9 280 // 500gb HDD
Things I've Tried:
I tried to swap out the GPU with my GPU
Switch RAM
Switch HDD
Switch motherboard battery
