Question Monitor blinking/flashing black intermittently

I'm having a frustrating problem with my monitor blinking/flashing a black screen randomly, like it is losing signal but recovers. When I connect my personal laptop to the monitor, it flashes maybe a couple times every 5 minutes or so. When i connect my personal desktop or my work laptop to it, it is fine, no flashing at at all. I recently purchased a mini pc to replace my aging desktop, and that flashes too. I've tried multiple cables/ports but the same result for all of the computers i have access to at the moment, some flash intermittently and some are fine. If the issue is to replace the monitor, that's fine, but i'd rather not since it is working fine for my work laptop and personal desktop. This happens in windows 10/11 and linux (ubuntu lts 22.04). The only thing I can think of at this point is it is fine on the computers with intel cpu's (personal desktop and work laptop) and flashes with amd cpu's (personal laptop and minipc)

Hopefully this isn't too confusing! I don't think it's a driver/software problem, due to it happening on multiple computers with different operating systems. It flashes black completely randomly, when i'm watching a video or just looking at a webpage.

specs on the working computers:
Dell XPS 8700
i5-4460
AMD Radeon R7 360
12gb RAM
Windows 10

Dell Precision 7670
i7-12850HX
Nvidia RTX A1000
32gb RAM
Windows 11

specs on the computers that are flashing:
Lenovo Thinkbook
AMD Ryzen 7 5700U
16gb RAM
Ubuntu 22.04

Beelink SER5 MAX
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
16gb RAM
Windows 11

The monitor is an ACER B276HUL, 27inch 1440p 60mhz. I don't have access to another monitor at the moment to test, sorry.

You might want to see if relocating to another wall outlet helps change your predicament.

I'd try and use DDU on all Windows OS based systems and then manually reinstall with the latest GPU drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

As for your desktop, how old is the PSU in said prebuilt?

Thanks for the reply. I tried using another wall outlet, for both the lenovo laptop and the monitor, but still started flashing. I've used DDU on my desktop and the minipc, and have since reset windows on the minipc. I don't feel comfortable running it on my work computer, besides that has worked fine this whole time.

Yes, the desktop is getting to be ancient, thats why i'm trying to replace it 😅
