Monitor Brightness Help-

I need help finding the optimal brightness on my monitor. I have been using a fairly low setting that I was ok with. Then when i switched to the graphics preset setting i see that the extra brightness makes it look a little better or at least the stuff in game is brighter. It just increases brightness to near full and contrast a little.

there is no optimal brightness.

pick a brightness you are comfortable with.

turning up the brightness can make colors look more vibrant (because they are brighter) but can/will bother your eyes.

likewise having the monitor so dim that its hard to see anything will cause eye strain.

generally you want it to be in a range that isnt too bright to hurt your eyes, isnt so dim that you have trouble seeing things, and that looks good visually to you

its a personal choice....
