Monitor buying help

I know nothing about monitors and im just looking for a monitor 250 euro or cheaper if you can link me one just so it looks nice anything is helpful btw im from Ireland and i wont order from america or any other place dabs,newegg or pixmania would be the sites i use

Here ya go bud...you got that 970 so you should be able to push pretty good framerates in most games. This 144Hz monitor from ASUS will display those framerates for you and is pretty much a steal at €241.99..

Would there be another local retailer that may have that same monitor model for less shipping fees and maybe even match their price? Also, I like this one too...

Looks good, almost identical specs. The one I chose has 6 video preset modes and one inch larger screen size. Yours is a great choice too, the €25.00 difference in price is up to you. If it where me, I would feel like a few extra bucks would be worth a larger screen (you plan on looking at the thing for a few years I assume.)

just a question the acer is an ips panel is it not worth getting or not because i know i dont know anything about monitors but its good for colour no?
