Here’s my build :
I went through hours of trouble shooting found online and nothing helped except this one.
I switched the GPU to the second slot and I was able to boot up and get access to the internet and downloaded the drivers again.
I switched it back over to the 1st slot on the motherboard and now the problem came back. The 1080 still lights up and fans are not spinning on the 1st slot.
Question: Am I correct that my 1st slot GPU on the motherboard is broken? I might of yanked the GPU out a bit too hard. But it worked after numerous times before.
