Hey guys, I recently bought a new case and installed my components into it and now for some reason my monitor isn't picking it up.

Everything powers up on my PC, but still nothing from the monitor. I've tried HDMI and VGA connections, but no luck.

I've tried the CMOS thing where you take the little motherboard battery out, but still nothing.

Any hell would be much appreciated.

Thanks everyone!

Solution
disconnect all cables to drives. remove all ram except for 1 & reseat it. if have onboard video then remove videocard. reseat power connectors from psu to motherboard. power up. try motherboard outside of case to see if post or not.
Any LED's showing up on your motherboard? make sure the ram is seated properly and firmly, and all wires are plugged in correctly. If you check all of that try boting up with one stick of ram in one slot, then try the other stick if that doesnt work. If none of those work you can unplug the hard drives, USB plug, Audio plug, and only try to boot the pc with the processor and ram installed (and power of course) and see if you get a bios screen.

I am definitely making i am on the correct input on the monitor and neither hdmi or vga/dvi connectivity isn't working either.

Do you think its the motherboard? I don't get it because the processor works as it also turns on.

This is really frustrating. I just wanna play some games 🙁.

Thanks guys

just because it turns on doesnt mean the processor is working

if you bent any cpu pins it would appear to turn on but you wouldnt get a display
