Monitor color on screen getting changed

Dear all,
I am having a strange problem with my new monitor.
My machine config is as:
Processor: Core i3-2100 3100 MHz
MotherBoard: MSI H61MU-S01 (B3)
Graphics: Intel on-board
Memory: 4 gb (kingston)
HDD: 1td (Seagate)
Monitor: Dual (Iiyama & ASUS) both 22 inch.
ASUS connected on DVI port.
My ASUS monitor is changing color, turing slight purple from white, or becoming grey and after sometime again back to white.
All my computing purpose is for development (not games dev or play).
Do i need external graphics card or something else in HW is messed up.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I would try making sure the video cable is plugged in firmly on both ends. If it is, you might try swapping the monitors around (leave the cables plugged in to the MB where they are, but swap them on the monitors) and see if the other monitor does the same thing plugged in to that cable.

Hi Thanks for your reply.
I did that, swapped the cords, DVI to IIyama and VGA to ASUS, but after 10-15 mins, it was the same, ASUS started changing in colors....

Different cable and different port and still getting the problem sounds like a problem with the monitor. You can try going into it's menu and reset to factory settings (just in case) otherwise if it's new and under warranty I would take it back. If that's not convenient then you might need to spend some time on the phone with tech support to get an RMA.
