monitor color problem

i have a s236hl monitor and today i turned on my computer and for some reason half of my screen has a darker green tint on it and i can see the gridlines between the pixels i will drag a icon on my desktop to one side and it is fine with great color and no gridlines but when i drag the icon to the other side of the screen it has a green tint and i can see gridlines and i dont know what the problem is

First thing is try a different cable. Then a different port on the PC if possible. Finally try that monitor on another PC.
