Monitor colors go really Bright when loading an game

Hi Everyone
so something has been irritating me for a long time
it all started when I plugged the monitor in to another PC tower running Windows XP to see if it still worked then when I was done I plugged it back in to the vista tower when I first boot my PC the color is very bright but after a couple of minutes of reaching the desktop it goes back to the settings I set with the Intel graphic driver properties by right clicking and clicking graphic options
all is good after that until I open an online game that I downloaded when I get in to the game the colors go bright again
to get the color back I right click the desktop then click the graphic options when the Intel box appears I click apply and it resets back the color settings I like
its starting to really bug me.

Ram: 2 GB

Check the settings on the monitor, some monitors have a "Dynamic" setting and it will constantly adapt the colour and brightness settings to what it thinks based on what is on the screen.

ok my monitor only has brightness/ contrast, image position, image setup, image properties , options and it doesnt give me the Dynamic option

Ah ok, maybe its a driver problem.

Have to tried downloading and installing the latest drivers for your GPU? If you find the model you can get it direct from Intel.

Yeah I have downloaded the latest driver , I have deleted the driver ran ccleaner then rebooted and re installed and it nothing has helped
