I just built a custom PC and the motherboard is a P5W DH Deluxe and GPU is a ATI Radeon 5750 but i never fully understood why you can use the monitor ports on the motherboard as well as the GPU. Is there a way to?

Solution
Just looked at the Asus website, there is no integrated video. Your cpu doesn't support HD graphics anyway.

I'm guessing you meant that 9 pin blue looking video port?

which is;
Serial port.
This 9-pin COM1 port is for pointing devices or other serial
devices.

Basically usb replaced serial.

Not exactly sure what you're asking here buddy. The monitor ports on the motherboard will run on board graphics if your CPU is equipped with them and a Video card is not installed.
