Monitor/CPU cooler drivers?

So if I just need to pre-install graphics card + motherboard drivers (according to newegg) , why does my BenQ monitor come with a CD if it has no drivers? I believe my Corsair H100i did as well. Is there something I'm unaware of?

The Corsair, if hooked up USB, works with the Corsair link software, which drivers and the software would be on the disc.

As for the monitor, they usually include color information, EID information, etc. Usually not needed, but it's there. Usually now manuals come on CD too.
