hello guys if i increase the sharpness and brightness and colour of my monitor settings will it damage my monitor or reduce its lifespan? and also by increasing brightness and colour can i damage me eyes even more? i sit 1 metre away

1 metre? Not at all, now a days, the technology itself is eco friendly and is easy on your eyes, you should think about that when you hold your phone in your face all the time, same concept. As far as the settings go, no, it will not reduce lifespan, you are merely just changing the appearance and not affecting the "physical" components of the monitor.
