Hi all after upgrading some parts of my pc i think that i shoould get a gaming monitor also !!!
at the moment i have a Iiyama ProLite XB2380HS (IPS) it has given me an outstanding performance back in the day when i used the asus 660ti GPU
but know i think that i need to change it for somethink more towards Gaming so my Strix GTX1060 6GB dose not go to waste also to get rid of some minor problems like aiming and screen tearing . Have done a bit of reasearch and canot make up my mind wich monitor to by from the folowing 3 :
What hapens if i get the Iiyama with freesync will i have problems with it or ... ?
Iiyama G-MASTER GB2488HSU-B3 is with freesync dose not have G sync
DELL ALIENWARE AW2518H WITH G SYNC
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG258Q WITH G SYNC
please advice me thank you all .

Nvidia does have new drivers which should allow your 1060 6gb to work with Freesync monitors but the "tested" list is small but apparently will work with more Freesync monitors.

Is it 1080P/144hz your looking for?

Budget?

While I know the 1060 6gb isn't the best 1440P card maybe it would be wiser to go 1440P/144hz/Freesync/VA or IPS and just lower the settings a bit?

Overclocking the CPU should give you a bit more FPS but I would just adjust graphic settings accordingly until you get a pretty stable high FPS with minimal dips. The Gsync will also help.

Just whant to be able to run the game smooth with out trying to guess where my target is gona be... thats one of the reasons i am not going for the Iiyama but if i did have a AMD set up Iiyama would be my choise ... dont trust the freesync to work for me and not many monitors with Gsync in the area of 500 euros and under that have got a realy positive review !!!
