Question Monitor display blacks out for several seconds at a time, several times a minute

Hey all,

I have a Dell S2719DG monitor that as of a week ago started turning black, and honestly appeared to have lost connection to the graphics card. My primary monitor is the Dell S2716DG (The G-Sync version) and it has been entirely unaffected. My power supply has not changed, nor has the power in my apartment.

Here's what I've tried so far to resolve the issue:

• New displayport cable
• New HDMI cable
• Same displayport cable connected to primary monitor
• Downloaded new drivers, including NVIDIA drivers
• Restored from previous version of windows
• REPLACED monitor through Dell.

My graphics card is an MSI GTX 1080 TI. I'm kind of at a loss as to what to try next, but coding and gaming with only one monitor is getting tedious. Please help!

Well, I may not have solved it but I have gotten it to work...for now.

I tried another HDMI cable (4th cable) and now the picture is stable. I hope it continues but I'll update in the event my issue persists.
