Hey guys. I have been using this monitor for the past year and when I reconnected it there's some strange white/grayish color difference in the bottom left corner. I've attached a picture of it so you guys can see what I'm talking about. I don't wanna take it to a monitor repair and pay some ridiculous amount for such a small problem. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what exactly is wrong with it maybe like a loose cable or something? Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's backlight bleed, and is a manufacturing defect. The barrier masking out the backlight isn't perfectly aligned at the edge, and some light is spilling over to the front. All monitors have it to some extent, some worse than others.

Yours looks particularly bad. If it's under warranty, I"d return it for service. If it's an old monitor, well... start shopping for a new monitor. In theory you can fix it, but these things are built with so much tape and foil now that you'll probably end up making it worse, not better.
