Monitor Display Issue

While I was playing with my PC, a lightning suddenly struck our house, disrupted our electric current and shuts down my computer. As I was rebooting my PC, my monitor display suddenly turns darker than before though my system unit runs fine. How can I solve this issue? Thanks!

Do you have another monitor to try on your PC? Determine if another monitor works.

Try your original monitor on another computer within your house. Then try the monitor on someone else's computer; friend, family elsewhere.

Key is to determine if the problem follows the monitor or stays with your computer.
