Hello,

I just finished assembling a new computer with the following:

CPU: Intel i7-4790
PSU: Antec EA-550 Platinum
Graphics card: EVGA GTX GeForce 970
RAM: Kingston 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 13
Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5
HDD: HGST Travelstar 2.5-Inch 1TB
Optical Drive: LG UH12NS30 BD-ROM

When I turn on the power via the button on the case, everything seems to turn on fine - the fans, LEDs and the dual digit POST display that will show either debug values or the CPU temperature (in celsius) after POST. On my display, the two digits start at ~31-32 and then creep up to ~37-38. To me, this strongly indicated that it was the temperature of the CPU. I interpreted this to mean that the system seems to POST fine. However, I can't see any output from this computer at all. I am using a TV as my monitor. I didn't think this should have been an issue.

I have tried the following:

1. An HDMI cable from the motherboard to the screen.
2. An HDMI cable from the graphics card to the screen.
3. A VGA cable from the motherboard to the screen.

Each time I made sure the TV was on the right input setting. The graphics card doesn't have a VGA output. I doubt that there's a problem with the CPU or the RAM since the two digit display shows temperature. But I don't know why I'm not getting any display on the screen. I'm sure the TV works with other devices.

I really appreciate any help.

Sorry - alright. That was an unnecessary post. The issue was that the graphics card could not also be installed at the time of startup for whatever reason. I'll need to get the graphics card installed after I do the OS.
