[SOLVED] Monitor doesn't turn on; USB charges but doesn't work w/ KB & mouse

So I plugged all the components and powered on the PC to get ready to install the OS via USB flash drive. However, the USB ports doesn't work w/ peripherals but power on a USB light that I have. The PC is also not recognized via HDMI on the monitor. What should I do?

Yes. I do have all the cables plugged in.

Make sure HDMi is plugged into the graphics card as the F series cpus dont come with Integrated graphics

Yes I did do that. It's not detecting any monitor for some reason. I even plugged it into a different monitor.

The system isint reaching boot for some reason... try reseating ram and cpu power connector as well as the gpu power connector

Thanks for the reply, I will try that. But do you think it could be a motherboard issue? I bought it used on eBay and now I'm wary about being a bad MB.

So far, I've tried to reset CMOS battery, held the power button for 30 secs, re-seated the RAM ( I'm using single ram b/c the Hard drive is actually in the way of the ram slots). re-seated the GPU as well. Everything inside seems to be working: the fan, CPU fan, and even the USB ports light up from the back. The PSU is non-modular so there's no power connector.

Its very possible its your motherboard, make sure your board isint grounding out anywhere on the case. i would go ahead and try to return and get the money back
