Monitor doesn't work

I bought 2nd monitor and it is same as 1st(ASUS VS197) and i have graphic amd radeon rx 550. My 1st work on hdmi to vga activ adapter i tryed 2nd on dvi-d to vga and it doesnt work. I put 2nd on hdmi to vga and it doesn't work, too. Monitor completly works on another computer. When i put them in together one who works gone black and graph start cool very hard. I tryed to switch cables and nothing... Sorry for english.

DVI-D to VGA is not possible without an active adapter, it´s just a digital signal which comes out there like the HDMI signal

Did you try the HDMI to VGA active adapter with the 2nd monitor while the 1st was not plugged in?

Should work like the 1st monitor connected, just get a DVI-D to VGA active adapter like:
