How much visible difference is there in the two 17" gateway CRT
monitors? The default has .28 mm dot pitch, and the "upgrade" to
the VX730 for $40 has .25 mm dot pitch. Does a difference of .03
mm make much visual difference? TIA, Steve

The difference in image quality - and probably monitor quality as well - is
enough to justify the cost difference.

Gateway's low-end CRTs are not known for performance or for reliability -
they're offered for a cheap price.

You will notice a difference. Note this is over 10% better.

I went from a .26 to a .24 and the difference was well worth it.
