Hello, I'm here again.
So my new GTX 1050 TI connected to monitor shows no signal.
I connect like this: DVI - DVI and tried connecting like this HDMI - HDMI/DVI adapter)

Computer video card works, I tested on TV with HDMI port. So I think it's my Monitor DVI port problem.
(VGA works on monitor, and i'm using it now, with integrated graphic card)

How can I fix this ? Should I bring my monitor to service, to repair DVI port connection ? :/

10 series cards do not support analog signals so even if your monitor has a dvi [dvi-I or dvi-d ?? ] it may not do digital and be analog only then you would need a ''ACTIVE'' converter or a new monitor or looked ahead and seen this and went with a 900 card that would of worked out of the box with what you have at no extra cost or hoop jumping

as a example

https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-DVI2VGAE-1920x1200-Adapter-Converter/dp/B00C93JQXS

whats your monitors brand and model number

[page 4 and any 10 series card ]
''Display connectivity options include a DVI port, an HDMI port, and a DisplayPort. Unlike previous NVIDIA cards, the DVI port no longer includes an analog signal, so you'll have to use an active adapter. ''

thumbs down [page 32 ]

''•DVI output no longer includes analog VGA signals''

My monitor is: BenQ GW2255
GPU exact model: MSI GTX 1050TI Gaming X

But question is: How can it be that with previous gpu Palit gtx 1050ti I used DVI cable and played for some time until it FRIED :/ So i rma it and got this msi gpu.

well then your monitor will support digital through the dvi port if it was working fine on your old card but this ''previous gpu Palit gtx 1050ti I used DVI cable and played for some time until it FRIED :/ ''

with that you may need to test it and see if the monitors dvi port did not fry along with it or the cable got damaged seems the monitor display is fine seeing you use it with the motherboards vga port ?

thing is the MSI and palit should work the same / be the same .. if you get a buddy that would let you test your monitor on his dvi ports to see ?

hard to say with that fried coming in to play now ?? maybe something in the cable from the card to the monitor went bad along with it or the dvi port and what its connected to on the monitors motherboard went out as well ??

if you got a buddy to test the new card and monitor to see using process of elimination

heck for all you know the fried card may of damaged the motherboards pci-e slot as well ??

Yes, I'm using VGA TO VGA cable, from motherboard integrated graphics.

That palit card I think was just "bad chip"

Video card is working perfectly I tried on TV, and Different monitor.

Tommorow I will go to repair shop (Today they tested my computer and it worked perfectly), but I brought it home and it didn't worked on my monitor, so tommorow I will bring my computer and monitor to them to test it, they said it is easy solution. (I think that It just need DVI- VGA active converter, like you said or they will fix my DVI port somehow 😀)

one more thing be sure in your bios the the setting for using onboard video and gpu use is set to auto or insure it back to card use ?

[maybe under like primary graphics adaptor setting can be auto/ pcie / onboard ??]

when you plugged in to the motherboard it may of changed this from card use ?

but I now don't think you need that converter the msi card should work as well as the palit did before it went bad a 1050ti is a 1050ti nomatter the brand and all follow NVidia specs as far as that port thing goes

like for example

''Allows you to select the primary display from CPU, PCIE and PCI graphics devices. Configuration options: [Auto] [CPU Graphics] [PCIE] [PCI]

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/697066/Asus-Z97-K.html?page=69#manual

''Video card is working perfectly I tried on TV, and Different monitor.''

see maybe the cable unless you used the same one to test with seems if it works with everything but your monitor that maybe what you need to get checked ??

does you monitor auto detect between the vga port and the dvi ?? like mine I can select the inputs used so if I have it set to pc/vga and I'm hooked up to say hdmi 1 I will get no display until I change it to what ever port I'm connected to so to get display I need to change the setting to hdmi1 from vga from in the monitors menu ???

'('Video card is working perfectly I tried on TV, and Different monitor.''
That monitor has HDMI input. I used HDMI to HDMI cable tested on TV and Monitor.)
And I tried HDMI to HDMI/DVI adapter to my Monitor and tried DVI to DVI monitor, both doesn't work, so Maybe problem is my monitor DVI port :/ :)

And yes I can change monitor to use DVI or D-SUB tried both, no signal. In bios Primary set to Pcie-x16

well seems like you down to finding a monitor with a dvi port to try it ? may look at like a salvation army or goodwill store and find a nice office type lcd monitor for cheap to test with and have as a backup ? or take your monitor to a buddy /computer shop that can hook it up on his dvi to see ? or even let them test your card on one of there systems /monitors to see if somthings up ?

for all you know now the monitors dvi may of damaged you old 1050 some how like shorted and that damaged that palit card ??

It's hard to tell today, tommorow I will bring my computer and monitor to computer shop they will test it. And maybe my monitor DVI had been damaged, and need repair :/
But I forgot to tell you that, without drivers,(computer uses own(16mb or 32mb i dont remember)) I can load up my computer and monitor works with DVI to DVI, but if I install new drivers for this card, and restart computer it instantly went no signal detected.
For better understanding you can look in this my thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3268810/gpu-driver-install-signal-display.html

are you sure your psu did not go bad ??

like what I told this guy

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3269631/gigabyte-radeon-7750-work.html

now you got to think what caused the old card to get damaged or what did the card damage if that was the case ?

what is you motherboard ? may need to clear cmso [check your motherboard manual on how to ] or need the latest bios update to help graphics card compatibility

well I see it from one of your old posts yes then series do have issues with newer released cards like the 900 series and up

not that I know what revision board you got seeing there's like 5 of them but as a example from the rev 1,0

''2.Improve NVIDIA graphic card compatibility'' but then look how old it is ? 2012 ??

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3970#bios

i'll now bet a lot is due to this and intel 6 series had issue with the 900 cards like the gtx 970 and there bios did not ''handshake '' with them unless they were updated to support the latest cards fully

https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/3dekre/pc_wont_boot_after_installing_msi_gtx_970/

thing is this new stuff on old stuff aint as plug and play anymore

But psu can't be bad, gpu works with latest drivers on HDMI cable to TV.

I think palit card was damaged, broken on arival.

GA-H61M-DS2 (rev. 1.2)
I updated bios to the latest.
I didn't reseted cmos, but that can't be solution because it's working/motherboard detected gpu and just monitor doesn't pick DVI signal :/
It has to be something with Monitor DVI port or Cable, Tommorow we will test it out, today I can't. :/

well , ok I guess take it to a shop where they got stuff to test all things out with and narrow down the issue ?

all the GA-H61M-DS2 except rev 5.0 has a bios for ''1.Improve High-End Display card compatibility ''

but if you all ready have the latest on depending that it good enough for ''todays'' cards not from 4 years ago ? still maybe bad bios compatibility

as a long shot to that , palit - msi - evga whoever also put there own v-bios on there cards that the palit bios may of been better compatabilty then the v-bios used on the MSI cards ??

anyway seems now your best course of action is try the computer shop so they can test each thing with different parts / systems to see whats at fault

let us know what you and they find out working or not

Oh gosh,
Problem is: Black screen after windows loading.
Safe mode works.
I installed drivers and changed Windows boot picture from old vista to new Windows 7 and now blackscreen all the time. :/
DVI-DVI
I tested it on TV with HDMI to HDMI and is working perfectly.
I tested it on friends monitor with HDMI to HDMI and is working perfectly.

So In conclusion: I will buy a new monitor with HDMI port.

P.S. Repair shop: Was repairing my computer for 8 hours and in the end said, that my monitors DVI is bad. And I should buy monitor with HDMI. :/

I took monitor with computer to that shop, but they didn't mention that my monitor worked with their cards. They just said computer is good and is working with every monitor they have. :]

well ,that's what I was getting at . did any of there monitors they used tried the dvi on them or like you just used hdmi and what ever with out testing any other dvi ports ????

I could say I tested the card on all my monitors but maybe none of them had a dvi to hook it up to ???

They didn't said more information.
But I know that DVI works in safe mode; without drivers; with drivers monitor goes no display.
HDMI works everytime.
So it must be monitor :/

These repair shop guys after 8 hours testing said that my DVI input monitor is bad. 😀
But when I changed windows boot/loading from old Vista style to my windows 7 DVI shows nothing/no signal from the start, no bios, no safemode, all the time black screen.
But I tested again with HDMI it worked perfectly, So i'm planning to buy new monitor.
