Hello , i have this monitor for 2 months already working fine Dell UltraSharp U2515H 25" LED
The problem is the following... Last night i switched off computer/monitor then i went to bed and i realized that computer was still on , so i tried to switch on monitor to see what happened and a message poped up '' Entering Power Save Mode '' , from this moment till now i can't get rid off this message.

So i tried to replace RAM to a different , Plug off and in the GPU with no results, the same message.

Then i pluged in my old monitor and it is working fine , however i tried to plug Dell monitor back and i switched from DisplayPort connection to MiniDisplayPort connection in monitor panel ( both are connected at the same time since 2 months ) and it works on mDP but not in DP.

Any idea what can be causing this problem ?
Any real difference for gaming ( recording and renderizing also ) between mDP and DP ?

I have turned on the computer and im currently using mDP option from monitor panel because if i choose DP option it just pops this message '' entering power save mode '' and then black screen.

I'm starting to think that when i switched off computer last night , there was a Intel graphic integrated card update pending from windows( can i just uninstall it ? http://pix.my/jQTxlvoL ) , may be this causing some kind of interferences ? the thing is that the computer never switched off , i had to force shut down it this morning.

yes , that's how i change from DP to mDP and then it worked , but i want to use DP... as the past 2 months was working perfectly , dont know what happened, didn't touch anything.

I want to clarify that im using a gtx 1080 gpu , not integrated mobo gpu , still can i let it be completely uninstalled ?

So i uninstalled Intel Graphics and nvida drivers through DDU program then installed back the latest nvidia drivers 372.70 with no changes , still don't work on DP and about testing monitor... i have no way to test this since i dont own an other GPU DP ready.

Well since i did RMA this monitor already one time , because the first one came defective ( it will shut down every 20 sec ) im not confident in this brand / model anymore, so i will change it for an Acer Predator XB271HU 27" LED and if it doesn't works properly neither i will RMA the GPU.
Thanks for all the help @GamerBoy357 , i will pick you as the best solution for all the effort 😛
