Question Monitor exhibits screen tearing/artifacts at 240hz + PureXP ?

I recently purchased a ViewSonic XG2431 monitor and am having some faint screen tearing and artifacts when enabling PureXP or bumping up the response time setting from anything above standard while having 240hz active. If I drop down to 144hz it goes away. If I disable PureXP or go to response time standard while in 240hz it goes away. However, having these enabled at the same time shows this artifact/tearing.

Specs:

Mobo: ASRock B650 Pro RS
GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 12g
CPU: Ryzen 5 7500F
RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000MHz 30 CL TEAMGROUP T-Create Expert
PSU: Corsair RM750e

I've tried with and without freesync, different cables both HDMI and DP, resetting overclocks and disabling PBO and EXPO, and am stuck on possible causes/solutions. I'll also add I swapped this monitor over to my other system and the tearing/artifacts are consistent with that build as well.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

What version of Nvidia's control panel are you working with? You might want to source(borrow, not buy) a slightly higher wattage, reliably built PSU for the build and see if the issue persists on your initial build.

You stated that you tried the display on another build, is it like for like the same as your specs?

Per this reddit, try black stabilization to low(at or below 50).
