Monitor flashes colors launching/tabbing

Ever since about a week ago whenever I launch a game and when I tab in and out of the game my monitor will start flashing colors like blue, purple, and black when I tab in and out, and then green and black when I launch the game.

Just a note, its only the monitor that has the game playing on it.
Setup
Asus VG248 144Hz (main monitor)
Asus VS238 60Hz

Motherboard: Maximus VII Hero
CPU: i7-4790k
GPU: Dual EVGA GTX 780
RAM: 16GB (2x8) 2133Mhz
PSU: Seasonic 1050w (something like that)
256GB SSD
2TB HDD

Try a different video cable. If that doesn't help change the SLI bridge. I've had a similar flickering issue, and it was the SLI bridge.

Would either of those really be the an issue? I've been using the cable for about a month and the sli for a little more than a year

Figured it out, there is an option in the nvidia control panel for refresh rate, and when you set it to highest available it does that.
