Question Monitor flashing on and off

I am having issues with my main monitor. It will flash on and off every second (one second on, one second off, one second on, one second off) and this can last anywhere between 5 and 30 mintues. After which, the top part of the screen goes darker than the bottom but the flickering does stop.

This is a new issue which only started in the last 2 days.

I have 4 monitors in my system, with only one doing this. It also makes no difference if I go from 4k to 1080p on that monitor.

I have changed the DP cable port and no difference.

System specs
Windows 10 pro 64
Monitor in question: ASUS PB287Q
GFX CD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
CPU: Intel i7 6700K
Memory: 16gb Corsair Vengence DDR4
PSU: Corsair VS650
3 monitors 1080p, one 4k.

I have ran this setup for over 3 years now, without single issue. So I know it's not a compatability problem.

First thought was PSU but even with other monitors off, this still happens.

Sorted. error was motherboard port.

Don't you think your monitor is the problem?
Maybe it has failing components or power supply (monitors also have power supply), maybe he is saying BB BB (baby bye bye).. Bring it to a PC repair technician to test it...
