Question monitor flickering at anything above 60hz

recently my monitor (xf240h) started flickering and getting a black screen.
anything above 60hz will flicker.
my gpu is a 2060 super
ive installed the newest drivers through the nvidia website

1920x1080 display port
it was both in game and desktop.. but i believe ive found a solution.
by downloading the latest driver and selecting the standard driver type instead of DCH.
monitor has been stable at 144hz
