Ive seen different post similar to this one but I feel like my problem is different. System specs :
AMD r9 270x sapphire 4gb stock
AMD fx- 6300 @ 3.5 Ghz ( Was at 4.2 ghz but I put it down to stock to see if it was creating problems)
12 GB 1333mhz Ram
Windows 10
Monitors: acer 1080p through DVI, and another acer using a dvi to VGA cord 1366 x 768p.

The screens will randomly go blank (black) and the windows 10 unplugged device sound will play (bum bum) and the screens will come back. Sometimes its only on one monitor, sometimes its both. Sometimes it will happen repeatedly for 10 or so seconds. I used to use the same monitors on a GTX 650 1gb with no problems at all but the 270x doesnt have a VGA port so i have to use the special cord. (probably the problem?) Ive added the TDRdelay in the registry to no avail. The drivers are the newest available with me actually updating the newest this morning. ( It happened when I was writing this post aswell even with changing the CPU clock.) The temperatures are always in the safe range even when on max load. I could create the blackouts when I was on Overwatch (the blizzard game) earlier and when I tabbed out the problem would happen and when i tabbed back in it would happen, both times could flash repeatedly. not even in a match yet. Even when i wasn't on the computer it would happen. I saw it from the other room do it 5-6 times in a row. The problem seems to stop when I move the mouse or click, but that might be coincidence. Other than this I havent had a problem with my computer. It runs great and is very responsive. I suspect it might be a application running in the background. Thanks all any advice would be appreciated. RESOLVED

Solution
This problem has been resolved my myself. The DVI cable was not staying properly seated in the port and was coming loose on the left side. I have now switched out the second monitor for a 42 inch flat screen and I am still using the computer with 0 problems.
