Hello,

I am looking to get a new monitor but I have no idea what I am looking for. I mainly use it for gaming so a good response time would be best but I currently game fine on 4ms. For me the main thing would be quality, I want it to look good! Not sure whether I should look into QHD monitors or 144hz monitors. My ideal price would be something under £200 but if it's something worth it then I might go higher.

Thanks for any help!

If you are using 200£ you could find something on QHD and maybe even on 144Hz but you need a really powerfull card to run both of them (at least a 1070 in my opinion), what GPU do you have (or you plan to replace it in the short term?).

They need to choose if you have a ATI card if want a Free Sync monitor (GSync for Nvidia is outside your price range)

If you are gamming fine on 4ms then i would choose an IPS pannel.

And finnaly as kyzarvs ask, what size do you want?

My choice probably a LG 29UM68-P or 29UM58 29" (2560 x 1080p), because i really like the ultrawide format. and the 58 is in the 230-240€ price range.
