Monitor for 1070

Hi,
I have just purchased a PC with an i5, SSD etc and more importantly a GTX 1070. I need a new monitor and am amazed at the options available. I was hoping not to spend more than 600 USD and hence I cant quite get all the bells and whistles. I mainly play things like WOW and WOT so not too demanding. I had thought of a 27" 1140 but want to know if its worth spending the extra on gsync. So the question is whether to go for:

24" gsync monitor
4k 27"

the best options are:
24" 1080p@144Hz - just have in mind that in some CPU intensive games i5 will hold you a bit
27" 1440p
34" 3440x1440p UW - there is a 700$ 100Hz monitor.
