I broke my old monitor which served good (Asus VG248qe) it was my first 144hz monitor and colors where fine for the price, worked for around 4-5 years and then suddenly died. Im mostly playing Fortnite and am getting around 85-350 frames, usually hovering around 200 average. Thing is im going to upgrade my rig in next 1-1.5 years and after getting high end cpu and gpu (currently 980ti + x5675 cpu) which should bump frames to stable 200-250+ even in fortnite. And also want to futureproof myself with 240hz monitor which has alot of settings to tweak (blur reduction etc). I play competitive.

Price for XL2546 is about 100-150 euros lower than PG258Q but i have read that colors and pixel response time is superior in PG258q (does someone know if you can notice worse response time with xl2546?). There are however so much settings to tweak in XL2546 with superior blur reduction Dyac (i have no idea does this cause eye strain or give any benefit for me yet), which you can also turn off if i dont like it. Ive read that Dyac with high hz increases strobe cross talk which gives bad image, and that its necressary to lower hz to around 180 to get rid of it, which i have no problem to do since im not hitting stable 240hz anyway for first year or two before i update my rig.

Give me your suggestion which monitor would be better for fortnite competitive? thanks in advance

Actually i only found forum threads of people saying PG258Q has faster response time and xl2546 has one of worst input lags with this panel. Only found comparison of 144hz monitors vs xl2546 and it was something like 10 ms vs 13 ms, feel free to link if you find actual benchmark comparing monitors with same panel.
