Monitor for gaming

Hello I am looking for a monitor which would be good for gaming and has a display port also around £200 thanks!

Would that monitor be better than a 2k Ultra Wide? Haven't heard much about the 3d aspect of gaming in a while but 144hz is hyped pretty good.

It probably would not be as good as a 2k UW, but 1080p is still great, and it is easier to run.
You probably wont use the 3d aspect of it that much, but 144hz is great for gaming.
This is also usually much less expensive than a 2k or 4k monitor.

So if you had to choose between 2560x1080, 60hz or 1920x1080 144hz which one do you go with Emeck?

I have not personally used 144hz yet, so i cannot give an opinion.

I hear that it can make games run a lot smoother, and with less screen tearing.
This choice is up to you.
