I have shortlisted three models based on my requirement and budget.

1) U2414h (23.8", 16:9, 250 cd/m2, color gamut 85%, sRGB 96%, IPS PANEL)
Market Price 22000-24000 INR BUT 14700 / 218$ by Dell India direct with tax, and delivery charges

2) U2412m (24", 16:10, 300cd/m2, color gamut 82%, sRGB -not known, IPS PANEL)
Price by Dell India 18200/ 268$ (market price is close no such deviations)

3) U2415 (24.1", 16:10, 300cd/m2, color gamut 91% , sRGB 99%, IPS PANEL)
Market Price 28000-32000, price by dell india 22,600 /332$
[http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2415.htm]

My budget is close to 15000 INR BUT I shall try to stretch it till 22,600 (maximum)

Now please suggest a monitor based on price/performance ratio. Is it worthy spending 8000 more bucks for 2215 as color gamut and sRGB % are close enough. Two more concern 16:9 over 16:10, and 250cd/m2 over 300 cd/m2. I am not very kin on ratio but on performance. How brightness will affect? Is 300 really necessary?

[Note : 1$=68INR]

Thanks in advance

I am inclining towards U2414H. As per TFT Central U2412M is comparatively old model so I ruled it out. U2414H & U 2415 are pretty close but price difference is 8000 INR / 114$

I have no issue in 1920x1080 if quality of picture / color calibration is same then go for lowest model. What do you say?

As per my understanding U2415 is not a substitute for U2410/U2413. Am I correct?

I do not play games but along with my graphics intensive work I prefer to view hq movies.
