Monitor for gtx1070

Hey guys , so im.planning on getting the gtx 1070 when it comes out, and ive read and read more about the monitors but i still cant choose one after countless hours reading about them, so should i go for a 1440p 144hz ips or 1080p144hz tn? I play fps , like tom clancy's and cs go and i also play games like mmorpgs , racing games and so Which one of these can run at least 60 fps and better for my gaming style? Thank you

If you play racing games, definitely go for at LEAST a 120MHz monitor; 144MHz is the best though for racing games.
As for resolution, it really depends. If you want to be able to pull higher FPS, stick with 1080p. If you don't mind sacrificing some FPS for a higher resolution and larger area that you can see, go with the 1440p.

I'm partial to the ASUS monitors, particularly the ROG series and Predator.
