This is a build that I'm getting myself for my birthday and I'm looking for a 24/27" monitor that would bring out the best of my gaming rig. I'd spend maximum $260 and would like some recommendations on what to get :)

I personally love my 144hz monitor but they do lean towards the more expensive end at around $300 to $400 for a mid priced option in Australia. You really should have allocated more money towards your monitor and gone with a 270x or 280x or even a 960 which can play any game at 1080p.
