Monitor for new pc advice

Recently i bought a new pc and im looking into a new monitor now. This is my setup.

I7 8700k
RTX 2070
16 gb DDR4 3000 MHz
Z390 pro
500gb m.2 ssd
750w gold psu

Atm i have a 4K 60hz for ps4

I was thinking about a 1440p 144hz.
Can this setup play games in 1440p more then 60fps? I think 4K is not possible at a decent fps?

I want to play fps on high fps and the slower games on higher resolution. So i want a bit of a mix.

Can anyone help me with this one?

It should easily play 1440p/144hz @60fps in most games. You can go with something like this...

GSync can prevent screen tearing and give you a better experience overall. But it comes at a steep cost.

Does it make any sense to buy a 144hz monitor for this setup? If i get 80/100 fps is it worth it over a 60hz monitor?

144hz is more for competitive games where response time matters atm. If you are into that genre then its worth it.
