[SOLVED] monitor ghosting?

Hi , would it be possible for a monitor going bad to cause ghosting also making textures look bad shimmering and flickerng? in this case a 32 inch lg tv that been working ok for games but getting old im suspecting in some way that the response time is affected.

reason im asking. three graphics cards that has been fully working both showing same signs on same monitor , good fps , good temperatures but all show exact same
signs of flickering and shimmering. its also slightly noticable watching videos but not as bad.

the cards are asus gtx 1060 tested fully working a few months ago, radeon rx 570 new, and geforce gtx 650 ti boost also working a few months ago.

tested in two different systems one completely new

system 1 . hp pro 3500 upgraded intel xeon e3 1270 , 8 gb ddr3 ram. be quiet system Power 400 w .

system 2 all new components. asus ex a320m gaming, amd ryzen 5 1500x, 2 x4 gb crucial ddr4 2400 mhz ram, corsair vengenace 650 w psu,

first i thought something else was off in my upgraded intel system but then the cards show the same texture problem in the new ryzen system.

I have switched cables and tried display link to hdmi to but same problem,

Could it be ghosting on the monitor causing the problem , or did 3 graphics card suddenly go bad? its possible but unlikely. the quality of the psu is also good especially the new
corsair vengeance so i doubt its the psu causing this.

the texure flicking in all cases is on distance, for example battlefield v on long distance view the flickering is bad when in some
cases the games look normal.

Ghosting happens because of slow response time of the monitor, when monitor cannot catch up to speed with the refresh rate.
So in your case, I believe the "ghosting" issue is completely due to the monitor, or the cable.
You've also mentioned you tried swtiching cables so the only suspect is the monitor.

Texture flickering on the other hand can be due to a wide range of reasons. I've witnessed texture flickering due to a mod that Ive installed / due to the game itself etc..

Considering you've already tried the monitor on different cards, and considering that the ghosting issue is %90 a monitor-specific problem, the answer to your question is yes, the problem is the monitor.

Monitors have "response times". For example, ghosting would be close to impossible on a 1ms TN panel monitor. I am using a 4ms IPS panel and I still dont see any ghosting in triple A games. Keep that in mind as well if you decide looking for a new monitor.

i hope it is the monitor that means my Graphics cards is ok and dont have to rma but im not fully sure. the monitor have been working ok for about 6 years with 5 ms response time but i suspect if its getting old it could be having problems.
Funny thing is 5 minutes after posting on here a fuse blew on the outlets that the computer is connected to, i also been suspecting bad power since i had a two psus go bad in a row a while ago.
But if the power was bad shouldnt it take the whole graphics card out and not give these kind of texture problem?

from all the data that you've provided, (your tests with different graphics cards and different cables) and the age of your monitor, I genuinely believe the problem with the ghosting is purely monitor related. Slow loading is %100 irrelevant to monitor (cpu/storage etc) We must remember that the monitor is just displaying the performance our computer provides, therefore if something is loading slowly, that CANNOT be monitor related.

Flickering textures could be anything really. It would be too stupidly brave of me to make a declaration for its cause. It requires testing.

The chance that all three graphics cards are broken and the monitor being fine is really really low. Like really low

But if the power was bad shouldnt it take the whole graphics card out and not give these kind of texture problem?

I kinda agree, very long time ago, my motherboard was the first to get damaged in a power outage.
