[SOLVED] Monitor goes black after turning it on ?

Hi,
My LG 29WL500 monitor goes black right after I turn it on, but the power is on.
Even the built-in OSD menus don't show up. It's only a year old, and I've checked the cables.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
