Question Monitor goes black and says "no input" after a random amount of time?

Happens randomly, sometimes after 10 minutes of being on, other times after 2 hours..

I've updated all my drivers with driver booster (and device manager).

I've even reinstalled my GPU driver.


Any clue how I can get this fixed? (also bringing home other monitor to test on)



CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955
GPU: Nividia GTX 760
PSU: 500W
MBU: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
Memory: 8 GB

500W is the wattage of the unit. We will need to know the make and model of said PSU and it's age in your build. By reinstalling, did you use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers, then sourced the latest drivers from Nvidia to reinstall them in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Reinstall as in restart my pc, which in an article I was told it would reinstall itself, which it has done.



Going to check the PSU name rn, i'll reply once I open it up.
