Question Monitor goes black, but PC keeps up working

Hey guys. In random moments my monitor goes off, then my PC sounds like a supercar (i can still hear everything from it. discord, youtube etc.) . And it only gets fixed if i manually restart it. Any ideas?

It's not the cable man. Because when it happens, the PC starts making a loud sound. so it's something hardware related i guess

When you say your PC sounds like a race car when it happens, I assume you mean your fans start working harder? Or is there a more distinct sound? I'd probably start by monitoring your temps if possible.
