Monitor goes black, fans still on.

Sometimes when I'm playing games or just browsing the internet, my screen will go black suddenly, with any sound that was being played looping for 5 or so before cutting off.

Sometimes when it goes off it will be the same color as the thing I was on, say I was browsing youtube, the screen goes white, or 4chan, the screen goes a reddish-white.

My video card is an r9 270x, I have turned my fans up to 80% and it stays on 29 or so degrees.

please help

Does it do it when the PC is idle? Nothing running and all that? Maybe try switching to use your onboard graphics and sit around and see if it does anything with that?

It usually does it halfway through a game, or when I launch something, & I don't have any integrated graphics

Thats really hard to tell then, without onboard graphics we can't rule out the graphics card as the problem. Try a program like GPU Temp: http://www.gputemp.com/

It's free, just a quick install and it'll tell you what your GPU's temperature is, that can be helpful if you don't have any way to see if it's hot or not.

i use msi afterburner that came with the card, my card is usually 40*c and the fans are automatic changing

I have my computer case open with a desk fan next to it, blowing extra air inside, my graphics card is as cool as a cucumber, but it still crashes.

And your CPU doesn't have integrated graphics? My best bet is that the GPU is dead or dying.

Try turning ur pc on and off again.
