Hello guys. I had a problem which I was trying to solve all the day but do not really know what is going wrong. Please assist me in every possible way. Listen carefully.

I have 2 monitor. Monitor #1 (Main monitor) is called LG E2242. Monitor #2 (Secondary-Where I play my video games) is the LG 22M45.
Yesterday night I installed Battlefield 1 & the new GPU Drivers. After opening the game, I went to settings and changed from Fullscreen to Borderless. When I applied settings , my monitor #1 went black and everything on the desktop(gadgets-shortcuts) jumped to monitor #2 automatically.
The light on the monitor #1 was blinking , like I had the monitor plugged in but the computer was turned off. Control Panel & GPU Panel & Display settings do not recognize anymore the 1st monitor but only the second. I have to mention that this problem doesn't occur only ingame , but outgame aswell.
When I boot the computer the monitor #1 says DVI-D Power Saving Mode. Then goes black.

What I've tried already:
a) change the game from borderless back to full screen or windowed(?) , even lower the resolution. Nothing changed.
b) Unplug every cable of both monitors and try every solution possible (Different dvi connections back to GPU slots , even to motherboard's DVI slot) Nothing happened.
c) Unplug and plug the monitor's#1 every cable , then plug them back. Nothing changed.
d) Remove and plug the RAM sticks (a friend told me to , i find it pointless but at least i tried it.) Nothing happened.
e)Re-install GPU drivers , Repair Battlefield 1 files. Nothing happened.
f) This gives me hopes~> I plugged my monitor's#1 dvi cable to my brother's computer and it works perfectly.

What's wrong? Any ideas? I'd appreciate every possible answer , I'm very desperate. Can't find any solution around the web.... Thanks in advance ! Peace.

You may have to plug it into a different computer first. If I understood your post correctly, it worked on the other PC.

@Rataan Yes you understood right, I was going to do that but then it didn't work on my brother's computer the other time....I dont know what is going on.
I'm going to buy a new DVI cable tomorrow to try it out, if it isn't working again then the gpu's slot maybe is maybe faulty? ... dunno :S
