Monitor goes black when the video is too dark

so it's probably been about four months now, and basically what happens is my monitor turns off randomly. Whenever the graphic that's supposed to be displayed is too dark, my monitor just turns off.

This is actually a setting either in you GPU setting like AMD's Catalyst Control Center (CCC) or Nvidia's GeForce Experience or a setting on you monitor. Mine was solved when I changed a setting in my CCC when this happened on my AMD build. Sorry, I'm at work at the moment and cannot remember which setting I tinkered with.

Never mind, i managed to fix it by playing around with the monitor. Thanks anyways.
