I have an ASUS VS278Q-P Ultrafast 1ms 27-Inch LED-Lit Monitor. When I play any video on any platform whether it's youtube or a video on my hard drive, any scene in which the lighting is low causes my screen to go black. It returns when the lighting is over some threshold. is there a setting that may fix this?

Solution
turn off the ASCR It adjusts the backlighting intensity to make blacks look darker and whites brighter..
To disable ASCR, simply press [MENU] key to enter OSD menu, then scroll down to [ASCR] function and select [OFF], and this feature will then be disabled.
