Monitor goes black

Hi guys. It has been a month since I bought a new LG Flatron W2353VP monitor from Office Depot. It has been working well so far since yesterday, I turned it on, and after 20 min it went black. The "on" red light is there but I just cant see anything. I turn off and on again and image goes black after 2 seconds. It fades a little bit and then off completely. A day pass, I switch it on and it last a little longer like 10 to 20 min then the same. Any explanation why this? I have been using it for only 1 month I don't understand I wanna make sure if it is a solvable issue before contacting the store or LG, and Im afraid I dont have the purchase receipt 🙁

Get it replaced, waste of money buying your own parts and cracking open an in-warranty monitor.

I'd stay away from LG, we got a bunch of them, all 4 that were installed got major image issues within 1-2 years of use. Luckily we have 3 yr warranties on them.
