Recently my pc did a hard restart while i was gaming. I thought maybe my pc was overheating so i went ahead and cleaned it up including all the fans and my gpu and psu as well. It ran fine for two days after that and now whenever i play the monitor goes to standby and i have to do a hard restart to revive it. I dont think my gpu is overheating as it doesnt go over 60 degrees and my monitor almost instantly goes to standby after launching a game. I've tried using DDU and installing the video drivers again and nothing happened. For making matters worse now it sometimes randomly blacks out even if i have just booted up my system. I dont know what's wrong but i hardly think it's my gpu as it is just a year old. My specs are - Radeon R7 250 1 GB GDDR5 , i3 2100 , 4 GB RAM , 450W PSU. I know i have a pretty outdated rig but i hope you guys'll understand. I am not too intense of a gamer but i like playing some games nonetheless. Any tips/advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

if the display only blinks out when gaming then your rig having power problems from the power supply is not holding within atx spec. you can try a test power supply or use a program like hardware info set it for logging and sensor make sure the 12v rail is holding.

will lowering the power consumption and underclocking help? i dont have much knowledge about voltages and stuff so if you can be a little more specific and i've been using hwmonitor for monitoring temps and stuff
