Hello there, I was wondering if you could help me with a problem.

Long story short: I had to unplug my monitor recently, but failed to realize that a cable had got caught underneath when i tried plugging it back it. The plug was half in, half out, and unfortunately I inadvertently kicked it. There was a crackle, the monitor flickered and restarted, and now everything has a bluish tint to it.

I've tried reattaching cables, fiddling with settings, but nothing seems to work. Have I fried my monitor or graphics card? Like i said, things still work, but there is this irritating blue tint I can't get rid of.

Thanks!

Yes, but i can't seem to get rid this washed out blue tint.

Hello... There are three primary colors and any one of them can go bad... in your case the RED seems to be lacking or the Blue is Maxing out... typically this is a sign or Monitor failure...
1) Have you tried a different input on the monitor?
2) borrow and try a different monitor to your GPU/system... to determine hardware fault.
3) hook the monitor up to a different PC system... to determine hardware fault.

Hello! I need help with this too, I don't think it is my graphicscards software, since one screen is normal, and the DVI one is all blue, I've tried everything..
Heeelpp!!
