I have just purchased another Acer G246HL 24" monitor, so I now run a rig with two of these. One of them is connected via HDMI cable, and the other by D-SUB which has an adapter to DVI (DVI into PC and D-SUB into monitor).

The issue is that my older monitor is slightly pink and seems to have a weird tint than the new one. I have messed with the settings on both monitors but I cant seem to get them to output the same colors/brightness. I have used Windows 7's Display Color Correction but I that didn't work either. I have also changed the cables round, used new ones etc, but it is definitely the monitor. This has only happened since I got the new monitor.

I know this is a really small thing to be picky about but it really does bug me. If anyone knows anything about this I'll be happy to see what you did to fix this.

Regards, Matt.

Solution
So when you only have the old monitor connected the pink tint goes away?
What about trying the power cords in different outlets? Maybe a power issue?
