Question Monitor has a white strip that flickers ?

So my asus pg26v is having some trouble. Sometimes the bottom of the screen flickers a semi transparent white bar. (similar to when you increase the backlight brightness) its about a inch and spans the whole monitor vertically. What could cause this I have a display port connection and my 1080 seems to handle other monitors that I have tried.

Did you mean that white line at border of user interface in game?
I don't see any vertical lines.

Do you get the same white line on desktop too?

even in desktop yes and I apologize for the low res image. To describe it more its that white strip and itflickers when i play though its somewhat like an overlay that doesnt fully hinder the screen just as ive said similar to increasing your backlight brightness

I can't really see, what you're describing, in that image. Can you make a better photo?

Anyway - check, if video cable is seated properly. Try a different video cable.
Try a different monitor (or TV for example).
