Question Monitor has big white marks on the screen

Hello guys i would like to ask about my monitor. I have Saamsung Syncmaster p2370 from 2011 and the screen starting to have white marks and its getting bigger what do u think causes this and does it has a solution to it?

most likely the lcd is failing. after 9 years, its probably time to replace it
